Things that Interest Me

My mom is someone that interests and inspires me. She is an educator and inspired me to become a teacher as well. I used instagram and photo-editor to edit this picture.

I love working with children. Teaching interests me. I just changed this photograph to black and white using instagram. 

I live in Wilmington, NC about 5 minutes from Wrightsville Beach. Going to the beach at any time of the day really interests me.

Why I am taking this class

- I am taking this class for a few reasons. One because I need one more art requirement in order to graduate but also because I am really interested in photography and different ways to take pictures, such as on the cell phone. I am really interested and excited to see what I can do with my cell phone and how I can become a better photographer and blogger. 

-I want to get several different things out of this class such as the ability to use different applications to enhance my photographs. I also want to learn from my mistakes and excel in my photographs each week. I like editing my photographs on my cell phone and using different filters so I am excited to learn new things that I can do on my phone. I also want to learn more about blogging. I have never really blogged before so I am excited to start blogging!

What Photographs Inspire Me!

I took this picture in Las Vegas while on a boat tour of Lake Mead. This is a small cove with beautiful rock coloration. -This picture was edited using the app Photo Editor

I love capturing photographs of places that I have never been before. The Hoover Dam took my breath away with its height and many different infrastructures. 

This picture was taken at the top of the Shenandoah Mountains in the Shenandoah National Park. -I used Photo Editor to edit this picture.
